ReadyToEdit is built by a solo technical founder who ships weekly and works with video editors. The surprise, after years of doing both: the editing was never the hard part. Editors are good at editing. The hard part was upstream — deciding the angle, writing a script worth putting a name on, and turning a week of real work into a shape anyone could act on at all.
Every tool in this category generates content from keywords and vibes. This one starts from the other end: the work already happened — the commits, the clips, the posts, the documents. The job is to find the story in it, prove every claim against the real thing, and hand over a package someone can actually produce. Then to learn from every edit, so next week starts further ahead.
The build itself runs on the same conviction — the changelog is written from the actual commit history, because shipping in silence is the exact disease this product treats.
